I've got to say I was waiting the whole book for something truly bad to happen. But in the end I guess it didn't? Okay, it wasn't all daisies and roses but still... And honestly when I reached the ending I was glad. This book was refreshing in some type of way.
As of now there will forever be a cerulean hole in my chest. I need more. I want to read more about Arthur, Linus, Talia, Phee, Chauncey, Sal, Theodore, Zoe and Lucy. So TJ, make it happen, will you?

This book was so well written and the most comforting I’ve ever read. It felt the same way as watching Howl’s Moving Castle for the first time (I can’t explain that one). It was so cute and amazing and incredible that I almost started crying after I finished it.
Es de los libros más hermosos que he leído. Cada personaje tiene algo especial y la historia de cada uno te llega tan profundamente que lo único que queda al terminar el libro es felicidad por todas las cosas lindas que los nenes tienen de manera consolidada y por cómo la vida de Linus cambia por completo.
Es realmente interesante el contraste de su vida al principio del libro y como todo cambia cuando llega a la isla. Entra en juego la soledad que Linus sentía en su vida diaria, además de la narración, también se notó por la utilización de los colores grises y oscuros en las descripciones de su día a día. Cuando se habla de la isla se remarcan mucho los colores claros y brillantes, que crea un contraste con lo anteriormente dicho, y son usados porque todo lo que le faltaba a su vida anterior, la compañía y la felicidad, lo encontro en el hogar.
Una enseñanza y reflexión preciosa que llega al final del libro ligada a la pregunta ¿Cuál es mi verdadero hogar?
