80% ok history of Marxism. One star down because the "humor" and cartoons are trying way too hard. Two stars down because the author can't keep his libertarian views in his pants and randomly drops hoary canards like "socialism can't work" and "the free market is the only way to ensure an equitable distribution of capital" without even trying to justify them.

Excellent primer. In particular liked the clarification of the practical concept of commodification, and the idea of alienation as a result of this commodification of life and work; the ultimate reduction of the human condition into bite-sized parts; to be consumed or sold/exchanged.

Instead of explaining what Marxism is, this book explains why Marxism failed. The book can be correctly titled 'Failure of Marxism' - a graphic guide. The narration is very simple and easy for a beginner to understand complex terminology. But the book is filled with his opinions rather than the facts. Thumbs down.
