This was my first time engaging in any of Febos’ work & I think perhaps having context of her other writings would’ve been helpful as she touches on them a lot. She offers a lot of great perspectives around feminism & writing & trauma, but nothing that blew my socks off hence a neutral 3 star review. Definitely enjoyed the viewpoint of a writer when discussing memoir and sex scenes and the importance of writing your own story.
