The last 20% of this book really tested my patience.

There were many things about this book that got me heated. These things include, but are not limited to: inconsistencies in minor and major details that have me gaslighting myself; a pride so strong it leads to late medication for another person and unpaid bills; a tension about as taut as the elastic on a loose pair of underwear; characters as compelling as a drying wall; and, most egregious of all, a vastly inaccurate understanding of how the performance arts works.
