It kicks off with a "Beauty and the Beast" feel, which as a big Disney fan it adds a nice touch of familiarity. The story does start a bit slow, but it's worth hanging in there. As you get deeper into the world and characters, things really pick up, leading to an exciting finish that makes it all worthwhile.
The graphic audio of this books make Feyre seem like a child. Did not like.

I LIKED IT SOOOO MUCH. I havent read a good fantasy for so long. I was very reluctant to read this book because everyone seems to love it and I was afraid i wouldnt love it as much as I hoped. But lo and behold, I finished it and loved it. It was a fast read for me since i was in the mood.
I went into it knowing close to nothing. I used to hear people talk about it a few years ago, but I didnt pick it up at that time, which I’m grateful for, because I didn see alot of twists coming. I thought i predicted right but noooo, there are so many things that I didnt see coming, which made me intrigued.
BUT, the first time i came across Rhysand, i was like “This name looks familiar”. Then i realised everyone was mentioning him for ACOTAR series a few years ago. :)
The only reason why it wasnt a 5⭐️, was because it kinda got too overwhelming to me. Too much happened in an under-500-page book. Maybe it’s because I lost my touch in reading fantasy books. I dont know.
But i do get the hype now that ive read it myself. Cant wait to read the second one.
