Sittenfeld is one of my favorite authors. I love her witty writing and her flawed characters. This story is a cross between her typical writing and guilty light summer reading. I loved it!

I don’t know why other reviewers don’t like that the story took place during the Covid pandemic. Why is this bad? It is what it is.

I don't get it. Why is this book famous? Is the author the kid of a famous publisher? This was neither romantic nor comedic. The premise was frankly unbelievable. And the conversations were like streams of consciousness more suited to a screenplay not a book. The most painful part were the long quarantine emails.

Der erste und der dritte Part waren super, für mich hatte das Buch aber Längen. Die Einblick in das Leben hinter den Kulissen einer Comedy Show (vmtl SNL) fand ich besonders cool!
