I love SNL and combining a fictional version of that with a romcom? Yes, please! It was cheesy, but the female character read just like it came from the mouth of Tina Fey so all is forgiven. A great summer read.
a third of this book was like a day in the life of an SNL writer, and the rest was COVID (which i dislike in books because… i lived it don’t remind me). chemistry was WHERE?

SNL romance! I think it’s interesting how the pandemic is not only acknowledged but actually important to the plot. Good utilization of side characters/best friends throughout. But… I don’t love their romance to be honest. She is insecure and it comes out as being mean! A number of times! And he is super perfect and forgiving all the time and even in a romance novel it doesn’t make sense why they’re together.
