Somehow I always return to books that turn my brain off. So predictable I could laugh! Comedy! SPOILER: at the end of the book the protagonist is like “yay for the pandemic it brought me my hot bf” AND NO CONCLUSION ON JERRY LIKE DID HE LIVE??? Hello

At times, I loved this book. At others I rolled my eyes. I appreciated that this was the first recent romance I’ve read that acknowledged and even took place in a 2020-pandemic world! But at times I felt that the author was trying to inject every “correct” opinion into her characters in a way that didn’t always feel organic.

it did what it needed to do for me. i liked the entire half of the book where sally is js working on sketches and then the lead up until they perform it
