I really enjoyed this book — the premise of Sally being a writer for TNO (aka SNL) pulls you in from the beginning, and I enjoyed the mixed storytelling with the emails midway through the book!

I don’t know why I enjoyed this book so much. I don’t care about celebrities, comedy, SNL/TNO, but I loved reading this. I am a sucker for a love story and it’s refreshing that these people aren’t super young. Honestly, I’ll read anything Sittenfeld writes.

got 53 pages in. a little too politically leaning for my liking and the pace was far too slow. I don’t like the massive chapters with times/dates as breaks.
