The plot thickens!!!
I did suspect the revelation at the end but it was still so good.

This one felt a bit slower than the first one but we got the worldbuilding that I had wanted from last book, which was nice. Still, the end got me hooked for the next one.

So far i'm enjoying this series very much.  4⭐

This was pretty good! The middle was a little slow but things really picked up by the end!

Where some second books have the dreaded second book syndrome (aka they’re just filler), A Strange Hymn managed to avoid it. The development of both plot and characters is smooth and rather impressive.
I truly enjoyed the reintroduction to Temperance. Other than the fade to black spicy scenes,
it is an excellent middle book!
