This one was too detailed. To the point where several times I wanted to say “let’s get on with it.” The overall premise of the book was interesting with a father disappearing with only a note for his new wife and a package for his teenage daughter left behind. Even with the father barely in the story, he was probably the least likable character.

I think you always find something in a book that keeps pushing you to finish it. I truly did not care for the characters.. had zero interest in them. But what finally resonated with me was the daughter in the book. The ending sentence was very well done. Three stars at best because the plot line was ridiculously unbelievable.

It just felt like a reach. The characters didn’t capture me either. They honestly annoyed me a bit.

actually very entertaining and captivating, but it’s quite cheesy at times and the writing itself is subpar

I really loved this book, it was such a quick and easy read but it was fascinating, had mystery, descriptive without being too wordy, the characters were great and well developed. I also loved the ending it wasn’t what I expected but made the story even better.
