Not at all surprised that Backman has delivered yet another 5 star for me. I got so many chills while reading this book, I can’t think of any other authors whose books give me chills.

Said it before and I’ll say it again…Fredrik Backman is a genius!

This is the second book in the Beartown trilogy, I loved as much as the first ❣️

I love so many of these characters and, again, had lots of moments where I had to just stop for a minute, close my eyes and hold the book to my chest, and quite often cry, not necessarily sad crying but ‘I have been moved’ crying ❣️

It’s been a while since a book has made me tear up. This is an amazing story. I think I enjoyed this one better than the first of the series. But you have to have the first one to enjoy how perfect this one is.

Mr. Backman does it again. Physically cried. Physically laughed. His prose is poetic. His story telling is out of this world.
