A mix of stories about rescuing many feral cats & living life being empathetic to both felines and  humans. Having rescued 3 feral cats in my 20s, I get it. It's not easy & takes dedication. The author is clearly dedicated to these cats. The discussion became a therapeutic cry fest at book club. If you are a cat lover, this one's for you.

This book had me crying in the discount tire waiting area. This book is about so much more than cats - it’s about community, it’s about perseverance, and it’s about humanity. I’ve been following Poets Square Cats on Instagram for years, so I’ve been excited to finally read this book and it did not disappoint

This was a sweet and inspiring story about a how a group of thirty-something stray cats changed the lives of one woman, a neighborhood, and entire online community. As a cat owner, reading this really warmed my heart. People like Courtney do incredibly important work, save lives, and make a tangible difference in cat colony communities. The book starts with her fateful move to Poets Square and chronicles her foray into cat trapping and animal advocacy. Today, she continues this journey and shares it on her Instagram page, @poetssquarecats.

Easiest five stars I’ve ever given a book, and I don’t even rate memoirs. This book inspired me to take action and become a volunteer and foster mom for a local rescue. Courtney’s writing is beautiful, and the way she’s able to weave her life story and lessons with the cats was masterful. I cried so much. So, so, so much.
