Beautiful memoir, not just for cat people. Mental health, relationships, capitalism, and yes, the way animals can impact your life. I really loved her writing style and storytelling. Would love to read more by this author for sure. Audio version was read by the author, I really enjoyed it.

I loved every single chapter! I’ve always been so impressed with how much emotion Courtney can convey even in her short Instagram captions, and so finally getting to read this book was a delight. The themes of cat rescue, poverty and mental health are obviously all very heavy, but having them interspersed with stories of cats and community and love made it a gripping and hopeful read for me.
