Loved, loved, loved. I always find little pieces of myself in memoirs but this one really struck a cord. Beautifully written, raw, familiar. I love cats and I love cat people. I could see this being my favorite read of the year.

This is a beautiful, beautiful work of art. Half-way through reading it I found myself standing in a TNR line at my local animal non-profit at five AM. Its just that good.

This book was so much more than I thought it would be, I follow Poetsquare on TikTok and instagram and I expected this book to be a heartbreaking but loving story of each of the cats, but instead it was a heartbreaking and loving story about different aspects and realities of life.
It touched upon so many topics, all beautifully written, made me cry numerous times and feel so passionate about animal and humanitarian aid. 10000/10. (The illustrations were also a lovely touch)
