A good book, but slow to get into and at times boring. Good premise.

14 year old me would have given this 5 stars for sure, this is a good YA novel. I had small issues regarding some of the things said about gender (the feminist in me gives this book more like 2*), but mostly i enjoyed it.

I'm so excited to read the second book, to see where this story goes. Then, no doubt, I'll be eagerly awaiting the release of the third book to complete the trilogy. Fantastic. I couldn't put it down, I was that captivated.
