Lena has been through it. Time and time again.

The absolute heartbreak from trying to move on after losing Alex and not being able to find her mom almost did me in.

Then she falls for the enemy, Julian. I love an enemies to lovers trope.

After feeling like she can’t trust anyone and she is all alone she realizes love could save her after all and what happens? The past comes to her front door.

Oof. Kept me on the edge of my seat.

This sequel was just as thrilling as the first installment, which is not something you get all the time. Although it was a little difficult to get into at first I soon devoured the entire book and I can definitely say that I did not expect it to end like that. At all. Just. Wow.

Not at all where I thought this story was going. I loved it. I'm terrified for the last book.

This is the second of one of the greatest young adult series there is! This book was a little hard to follow at first, because of the way it was written. If you don't read a book in one sitting it will be difficult to remember where you left off, but it was a good book. I can't wait to read the third book in this series!

While I WAS able to predict the whole love triangle occurrence that seems to be present in nearly all the books I read, that didn't make it any less exciting. I've already preordered requiem, and can't wait to finish this trilogy!
