I would have given it 5 stars but I'm so mad at the ending I could spit. Seriously??? Do you have to leave it with that big of a cliffhanger? About the mom? About Alex? My head is SPINNING right now!!
Lena has made it to the safety of the Wilds. There she falls in love with a dazzling set of new characters, while also grieving for the old. But he Wilds are anything but safe with the growing resistance, and without Alex to help her, Lena finds herself turning to somebody else… Taking on the role of a new recently ‘cured’ Lena in Manhattan; she finds the resistance runs deeper than she ever imagined it could. And, like Delirium, it ends with a shocking twist that will make your heart stop! I couldn’t put it down!
I actually loved this book even more than the first! I don't think that's ever happened to me. I've had books where I happily love the sequels just as much as the first, but never have I preferred a sequel over the first. You see a whole new side to Lena, and there are quite a few unexpected events here.
Actually better than the first can't wait to read the next! Though I saw the end coming a mile away.
More like 3.5 stars
First of all: very predictable. Like even the “twist” regarding the involvement of the resistance and the scavengers. And OF COURSE Alex wasn’t dead.
Second: I really like the characters. Like, I love Julian and Tack and Raven.
Third: I’m disappointed in the introduction of a love triangle 🙄

Bastante mejor que el primer libro, mucho más dinámico y con un desarrollo de los personajes que tiene más sentido. De todos modos, como se le ocurra meter un triángulo amoroso como veo que tiene intención que hacer puedo cabrearme.
I like how we get to see the current and past perspectives from lena's point of view. How after escaping with alex, where only she made it into the wilds, she was found and cared for by raven and her group where she helps and learns their ways.Migrating with them, and coming to see them as a family to her.
And how in the present, she is known as Lena Morgan Jones, who got cured, and is held back at school and will be taking her evaluation later in the year.A member of the DFA.Where with all that is planned from her group, gets Julian "infected".What happens if she falls in love with Julian. What happens when she finds Alex alive?Who will she choose in the end?
