What in the ever loving shit was that ending? Making me buy the other book immediately smh

Pandemonium was significantly better than Delirium. To be honest, I didn't know if I wanted to continue the series after reading Delirium, but I'm so glad I did. Pandemonium makes up for Delirium in so many ways. It was a faster read and I didn't find myself skipping paragraphs as I did with the first book. The main character grew stronger and more likable. I connected to her in this book whereas I didn't in the first.

You can definitely tell that Lauren Oliver took a lot of time creating the similes and metaphors that often pop up throughout the book. I think they're cleverly written even though they sometimes stand out from the rest of the paragraph instead of seamlessly blending in. Nevertheless, I didn't find them distracting. Oliver is also very precise in her words.

I really enjoyed the book so much more than I enjoyed Delirium. Give it a chance! I'm glad I did :)

Plus, the cliffhanger at the end. HOLY CRAP!!!!!

Somehow this book was SO much better than the first one of the series. I still loved Delirium but found it slow, this one there was just so much going on so quickly, I felt the need to keep reading. I also loved Julian more than Alex, which I feel is an unpopular opinion! But I wish he would end up with Lena

I think that the book what overall great. But the chapters kind of confused me with the before/now thingy. I think that this book was definitely more dull that the the first one (Delirium), but I still think it was a great read. I'm gonna pick of the third and see if it's better now that one specific person is back.

I really enjoyed Pandemonium. I connected so much with Lena in this book—her scars, losses, inner fights... her character grew so much. The new characters—Raven, Tack, and Julian—are really interesting, each with their own stories, pasts, and well-defined ways of thinking. I will start reading Requiem because this second part of the trilogy caught me. 5/5
