Incredibly slow at the beginning and honestly bored me to the point I debated not finishing it.

I understand it’s based on golfers but honestly I feel like it waffled too much about golf. Like. So much about golf.

It only really starts to get very good about half way in, and even then I felt the ending wasn’t all that great and was a bit disappointing. Dunno. Maybe just not for me!

Can't keep track of characters. Perhaps I need to start from book 1 of the series

This in a book in the Myron Boltair series, of which I have read a few of the books. My intention was to start with the first book and read them from the start. I mistakenly thought this was the first book but didn't stop reading it once I realized it wasn't because Harlan Coben's books are really enjoyable. Plot is usually the same in this Boltair series. Myron, a sports agent and his psychotic preppy super rich friend, Win, accept a new client. After that there's either a kidnapping, murder, disappearance, wrong accusation, etc. of their client and they must solve the mystery.

Myron Bolitar ermittelt diesmal im Golfumfeld. Und im Familienumfeld - seines besten Freundes Win.

Wieder recht spannend, lustig... Coben scheint vergessen zu haben, dass Bolitar bereits in den ersten Bänden einen Golfer als Kunden hat. Ts ts.
