Um okay, I'm a bit disappointed at how it was wrapped up.
Loved seeing CCG and Ghouls standing shoulder-to-shoulder and fighting their common enemy. There were some great fight sequences and few Ghouls thought to be dead turned out to be alive. But the highlight was Kaneki's fight with Furuta and it's aftermath. Kaneki said some wise words there and they really made me think about life in general.
BUT, what even was the last chapter? I love these characters so I'm glad no one died and everyone basically had a happy ending. But would Kaneki Ken survive in a human society after having put them through this much chaos? He was an accidental victim, yes, but his actions post this realization were his own. I love this boy and wanted him to lead a happy life, until he turned into that monster. While we may still argue that he was a plaything in Furuta's game, but does it justify his actions?
I am seriously conflicted. After becoming a Ghoul he suffered so much, became mentally unstable even, that I want him to have happiness in his life and live for God's sake. But, his actions do amount to that of a criminal, so should there not be some form of punishment? Yes, he repents it, I'm sure he pains his mind over the numerous deaths he caused but just mentioning that doesn't seem enough.
Maybe I'm overthinking a manga but yeah, I felt a bit weird after the ending..

Sekuel dari Tokyo Ghoul ini masih jadi manga yang menyenangkan buat dibaca. Ceritanya makin kompleks dan ilustrasinya juara. Sempet agak repot di bagian awal karena ngenalin banyak banget karakter di waktu yang singkat. Endingnya walaupun memuaskan, terasa terburu-buru. Menurut gosip, Sui Ishida udah agak lelah mengarang Tokyo Ghoul..
