As a Black woman who will be pursuing a legal career, I am very interested in learning about Black female legal giants so I can emulate them. Prior to reading this book, I had heard about CBM in passing. I’m so glad I bought and read this book about this groundbreaking and intelligent woman. I really love how the author provided clear themes to help the read interpret the life and career of CBM.
