Just as good as The Witness for the Dead. There's a fuller sense of Celehar has a person in this book, of his trauma and how he relates to the people around him.

An interesting slice of life that does a good job of fleshing out the character and and the world. I thought some of the plot twists didn't work as well as the author intended with some of the mysteries being wrapped up too neatly. I do give Addison credit for letting the book end at a natural point with some questions unanswered.

I love Thara Celehar so much this pathetic wet cat of a man.
