I liked the setting and the characters, but it was too slow moving for me, with too many characters that were very hard to either picture or differentiate.

I might have felt differently if I hadn’t been listening to the audio book, but I don’t think so.

Two of the members of my book group LOVED it. It’s rather a thriller with literary fiction aspirations so if you like very detailed descriptions and are willing to create a written list of the characters — the main character is engaging — and take notes this might be your book
