A fascinating read about a tragically forgotten queen. I wish I could have known more about her relationship with Guildford and the specifics of what went on during her reign but I guess there isn't much information regarding that.

What a wonderful story wriiten with so much passion by Nicola Tallis. I had never heard about Jane before reading this book, but look forward finding out more about her and visit the historical places that still exist to this day

Informative, easily accessible and very interesting. This book chronicles the life of Lady Jane Grey from birth until her violent death and does a very good job at explaining the complex political situations that influenced (and ultimately condemned) Jane. I felt an enormous amount of pity for this young girl who, despite all of her talents and intelligence, existed as a pawn for the games of her elders and lost her life because of their failures. Nicola Tallis has written a sympathetic yet fair biography that any fan of the Tudor dynasty should read.

I want to read this however the audible versions voice actor is not great. I can't explain it and I hadn't come across this previously but they made it impossible to listen to.
