This was a fun read! Compelling characters, an interesting world, and gorgeous art.
Wasn't sure about this over the first 8 pages but it drew me in rapidly, solid story line, wonderful creatures and nice layers of storytelling have absorbed me.
From first frame to last, this was an amazing comic. Fascinating worlds, gorgeous artwork, snappy dialogue, intriguing plot layers. Can't wait for more!
Well, this was my first comic for grown-ups, or whatever you want to call it, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I read it all within about an hour which surprised me. It's not very long. I thought the art was fine, definitely skilled but didn't grab me like "whoa, this is drawn so well, amazing". I guess I felt a bit let down overall, after all the hype. It was fun, and funny in some parts. The writing seemed good, the characters were enjoyable. I'm really not sure how to rate this, though, because after all that I felt like it was enjoyable but kind of slight, and unsatisfying. Like eating a McDonald's cheeseburger, it was yum but there wasn't much nourishment in it, and I'm still hungry. Maybe I should've just read more of it at once?
Amazing!
Great artwork, great plot, I can't wait for the next volume to arrive

Wow! Best comic I've read in a long time. It's full of adult themes, adult writing, and complex emotions.
I love the art. The sharp outlines of the people contrasted with the amazing, gorgeous backgrounds.

What is this, and why does it make me so happy?
If you love TVs having sex, a diverse plot of characters, sassy parents and a child narrating a story in her wonky handwriting, this is the book for you.

I love science fiction, especially older science fiction. Despite my love for the classics, it's so refreshing to go from 50s and 60s science fiction, where the books lacked diversity, to Saga, which contains such a colourful cast of characters and designs so fascinating that I want to scream from happiness.

For the few people like me who haven't read this masterpiece, Saga is a comic series about the love between two people who belong on opposing sides of races involved in a galactic war, and the result of their love - a girl named Hazel. Saga only becomes more fascinating as the parents, Marko and Alana (as well as the bounty hunter, The Will) encounter wonderful and weird people and places. I love how every person in this book, whether good, bad, rebel or soldier, has character and motive. I also love how characters have their idiosyncrasies and quirks.
I love the rough, squarish style the comic has. The different races found throughout the galaxy are well-designed and drawn convincingly.
Also, I love Marko. So much.
