Very weird, and I don't think I'd usually like it, but... I kind of do. And by kind of, I mean I really do. Can't wait to read the next volume!

From what I can tell, this is the beginning of a very well made story with stunning artwork but it’s just not for me.

After reading the first one I almost immediately bought the second and third ones.

Fantasy, sci-fi, war, forbidden lovers. It has all the things I could possibly want! I couldn't recommend this enough.

I will say though that they are very short for the price and i am starting to feel a bit like the amount of content isn't worth the tag.

(3.5) This was one of the top-ten most challenged/banned books of 2014, and I can certainly see why: it is for mature audiences and it is graphic (and I don't mean "graphic novel"). The art is pretty amazing and inspired, even if the computer-style isn't my favorite; it definitely suits this story and world very well.

A very hard story to swallow due to themes of war, violence, corruption, sex slavery, etc., but it is also very important because of those themes. While it was a bit too explicit for me personally, I think it's a great book and am interested to see where the story takes our unusual characters.

Very obvious this was written in the early 2010s but still so fun!

Not bad for the first vol. A little weird but still not bad. It's a good starting point for the series.

I had no idea what this was about but remembered hearing about it a lot on Booktube a while ago. I'm so glad I picked it up - I love stories that center on familial relationships and the world is so interesting. Also, I now love Marko.
