Crazy, weird, brilliant and yet so funny and strangely relatable. I don't really know what else to say.

Starting a reread of one of my favorite series

A new take on star-crossed lovers.
Warning: some of the visuals are not for the faint-hearted

one word AWESOME! there's noting to add to this story, it has it all. <3

Doing a Saga re-read since the series just returned from its three-year hiatus and issue #55 is out!

Saga is one of my single favorite pieces of media of all time. The art and story are incredible. When I first came across Saga in the graphic novels section of Barnes & Noble, I was drawn to the art on the cover and when I took a peek inside, I was instantly hooked. I have never seen another graphic novel with an opener like this one. It sets the tone, makes you fall in love with the main characters, and jumps right into action all within the first few pages.

Reading this series is such an experience for me - I love taking my time to pore over Fiona Staples’ unique and gorgeous art style, reading and re-reading certain sections to really feel the story beats. I even created playlists for when I’m reading that enhance the emotion and help me connect with the story that much more.

Damn, I thoroughly enjoyed this!

This was amazing. There were moments my heart dropped, moments I laughed, and moments I dreaded, but it was all done well. The characters are absolutely delightful. The creativity is off the charts. Check for all the trigger warnings.
