My rating is a 3.

I liked this one more than the previous book but I think it suffers from not having Paul as the main character. To be honest, I don’t really give a shit about his children and they kind of ruin the previous characters I did enjoy.

That being said, the twists and turns near the middle to end of the book are so well written that it makes up for the bad characters in my opinion. I think I’m gonna take a break for the time being and maybe come back to the franchise at a later time.

Somehow even better than the original dune book. I worried how I would like this book
because Paul is no longer the central character
and I was not disappointed.
following the story of Paul's kids was amazing, and I loved reading about Leto and Gahnima. Alia also stole the show for me in this book. Her character arc is one of my favorites in the entire series
The first 3 dune books has to be my favorite trilogy of all time.
