Such a cute book to read as an adult. Being able to understand all the messages it was trying to send was lovely. Really enjoyed reading it.

Update: We have since read it again and also listened to the audiobook (read by the author) and both of the children enjoyed it very much. The audiobook is especially charming with E. B. White's strong New York accent. His pronunciation of "Wilbah" gets me everytime!
2018 review:
My husband read this to our kids this month. Our 4-1/2 year old followed along quite well, not so much our 3 year old. As my husband put it, "I was the only one who cried at the ending."

Beautifully written book. I love how the animals communicate and how Fern brings up Wilbur. I normally hate spiders, but Charlotte's death brought me to tears. A wonderfully compassionate story for all ages and generations, a must read for everyone!
