You cannot get tired of John sandford and Letty is as good, as Virgil. Can’t wait for book 3.

John Sandford books are always such a quick, fun read. I liked this Letty book MUCH better than the last. The female lead was more believable this time, and with a cast of characters I really enjoyed. Fast-paced, smart thriller with, as always, lots of action.

An entertaining audio with lots of action. I really have enjoyed Letty's adventures and hope the series continues. Listened to the audio version which was narrated by Robert Petkoff who was very good.

I continue to hope that I will like this series as much as the Lucas Davenport, and Virgil Flowers. This had some interesting characters, and a somewhat interesting plot.

In all though it was basically one shoot out after another, all for some vague hacking from all sides. Do they want to hack the trains, after they already hacked the trains, or is it oil, or is it for computer chips? Bad guys doing bad things and getting outsmarted by a Davenport.

Might be taking a break from both dad and daughter. Both seem either too old or too young to be so good at being one step ahead of the bad guys, and I am not as enamored with all the guns and shoot outs . At least in the original series there was character development in between. Thus far no real character development with Letty.

3.5 stars, rounded up. Probably the lowest rating I’ve given for a Sandford book, and I think I’ve read almost all of them! I guess I’m just not super fond of Letty and I really didn’t care for all the gun obsession. I still will probably read
