This is a very quick read. It can be a challenging read with the vocabulary and setting. It could definitely be reread a few times. I feel like the perspective may change with age.
At first glance I presumed Mr. Gatsby may be a lot like Bruce Wayne in Batman. I was very wrong, but he is still a good character.
I feel like The Great Gatsby was a book that ensured everyone could say at least something about the book.
I love when a book has me dislike a character, and then the book makes me change my mind. This book gives me whiplash!
The style is very elegant. The setting is New York 1922. I actually really like the way this era is presented. It was the roaring 20s!
