A fun, sweet romance to lift anyone's spirits and make you believe in love at first sight.
Ellen had her mother's history with men to show her that she wanted something more for herself. Planning to find the perfect compatibility with the man she plans to marry, she joins Detailed Dating which focuses on getting to know one another before they even meet. Ellen has narrowed it down to two candidates that fit the bill. Everything changes though when Ellen is asked to babysit her friends precocious dog Chester for a night. Believing she has killed him she ends up meeting Henry who saves the dog and not wanting to leave his company to quick she ends up signing Chester up for dog training classes. Even though she is meeting her candidates, her thoughts are frequently on Henry. Can she actual find the one without any assistance from carefully researched dating services?
Humorous story. I thought Ellen was a hoot, she is so afraid to let nature take it's course that she ends up possibly missing the best adventure she could ever have. Perfect read when just looking for a little break in the day.

I read this book in about an hour and it was very cute for a short story.
Ooh… I’m lost for words! I had so many things I wanted to say while I was reading the story but now that I’m done reading… I’m simply satisfied and ready to read another of Susan Hatler’s books. I’ve been eyeing her stories for a while now but since I had no Kindle so it never really motivate me to read, however now that I have, I downloaded this book right away. I’ve never read a book written by an English person so quickly before. I started reading it last night, and I wouldn’t have stopped if my bedtime hadn’t interfered.
This story hooked me up the first line. It was light, easy to read book. Not so much drama but exciting to read nevertheless. I truly admire the author style; the humor in the story keep me wanting to read the next pages all the way to the end. I don’t remember feeling bored while reading it. I love how Ellen and Chester interact (keep me smiling) and the ending was romantic (yes, I giggled a bit. Heh :)

This was such a cute story. Ellen and her dating comparability requirements reminded me a lot of many women I know. It's good to have standards, but sometimes you can take things too far. I was glad to see that she learned her lesson. You have to give love a chance even when it seems illogical or you might miss out all together.
The only thing I didn't really like was the ending. It was cute, but I felt it was too rushed. Only a few days had passed and I just felt this was a little sudden for Ellen to have changed her views and be planning for the future.
Overall this was super cute. I highly recommend it if you enjoy cute romance stories.
