I enjoyed Flynn's story way more than his brothers. The only thing that pissed me off was the amount of sex they had (it was majority of the story) and every time it would cut off, but otherwise the storyline and main characters were more amicable than the first book

I love Flynn and Daisy! Daisy tends to ramble a LOT and Flynn doesn't talk much, so they are perfect together. This was a fun book with one of my favorite tropes - fake marriage. Off to read the next book in the series! HEA. Low angst.

This book has a warning that it was laugh out loud funny, literal laugh out loud. It lied. It was mildly amusing at times. Mostly it was annoying and even more annoying. It made a forced attempt at the silent hero and the quirky heroine but fell flat on both accounts. Instead it firmly produced a robotic male lead and an annoying flighty female.

The book warning promised to be steamy. Like hold your panties and thongs this will be hot, don’t read in public kind of steamy. That promise was the most comical part of the book. When things start to get steamy, we get basic details “he entered her” blah blah blah but then turn the page to her waking up and blushing about the most prolific sex of her life. Which was?. Or we get her remembering all the things he did to her. Again Which was what? Was this book a fill in the blank kind of steam- author tells me it’s was a crazy night but I have to fill in the blanks on what they did? I’ve read more steam and chemistry between characters in a young adult novel where there was literally no sex in it. Which brings us to the next point: because a book merely has sex in it does not make it steamy. Sex can be robotic, sex can be a pure physical act. What makes it steamy is the chemistry between the characters. These had none.

Also just as a note: I am not saying that the author needs to provide explicit detail of every sexual act they did. But don’t promise steam and then not deliver on either the sex or the chemistry.

Bottom line: Don’t make promises you can’t keep. Don’t set the standards and then not meet them.

Felt like the author was trying to force the comedy and it wasn’t hitting the way I wanted it to

The Winslow Brothers get better with each book!

I loved this marriage of convenience/fake relationship tale and consumed the audiobook in one sitting. The narrators were amazing, allowing me to picture Daisy and Flynn perfectly in my mind.

They meet in Vegas and when Daisy discovers her work Visa has expired, Flynn offers her a way to keep her dream job. Their genuine connection and budding friendship was such a beautiful journey to watch, and I love their family/friends.

The epilogue was everything my heart wanted and I can't wait to see more of this pair in the future, as well as seeing how the fortune tellers predictions pan out for the other siblings.

This book was so lame. So boring and flat. The characters were flat and Daisy was just plain annoying af. Flynn was boring too. I don’t understand how idiotic a person could not knowing that their visa has already expired. That’s Daisy in a nutshell. Need I say more? There’s no chemistry between the characters. They met and Flynn suddenly suggested they get married to get her a green card. Why? He didnt have a reason and it’s not as if he fell in love with her right there. He just decided to marry a random chick and you call him the rational guy.

Also no one was surprised when they told them about the marriage. They’re like oh wow that great! How’s that possible. This stupid girl doesn’t know when her visa expired, she doesn’t even know when she stopped her birth control. Do you expect me to like this girl? And the accidental pregnancy trope. Eww. Then the interview at the end. I am pretty sure such immigration processes are quite arduous and time consuming and here they were acting like it’s childs play. Daisy acting like a lunatic and all Flynn thought was about screwing her. People, there are mature characters right over here. This book was so boring, nothing really happened except them having sex which was not even interesting and some dirty talk that felt cringey and out of place. Ugh lame.

The Pact is Max Monroe at their best: laughter and tears, with a dash of wit thrown in for good measure, expertly woven into an enthralling, feel-good romance..

Daisy embodied my favorite type of heroine; her rambling words gushed from her tongue at every moment of fear or silence, and her rambling quickly became my all-time favorite. I felt her anxiety in every word, as her anxieties and fears churned inside of her like a tornado, growing stronger with each word. I wanted to hug her at moments, and her incoherent ramblings made me laugh at other times.

Flynn is Daisy's polar opposite in virtually every way; he's mysterious, quiet, and follows a rigorous schedule, and when he does speak, it's with purpose. I'm confident he could win a gold medal in dirty talking alpha. He had spent the majority of his life working or spending time with his family, and he was perfectly content. But then a woman entered his life, bringing with her a world of color.

Flynn and Daisy had an instant connection, but it was much more than that; it was two people who didn't realize a part of them was missing until they met their soulmate. Daisy's mind could send her into a tailspin, and a simple touch from Flynn brought her a feeling of tranquility she had never felt before, and she offered Flynn reasons to smile, *gasp*, and even say more than a few words.

The Pact is an engrossing blend of searing chemistry, a dirty-talking hero, and a sweet and awkward heroine, rife with witty banter and nervous rambling, prompting laughter and uncontrollable giggling, a scattering of feels, molten lava levels of steam, and a family teeming with unconditional love.
