2.75 ✨ rounded up || I really did enjoy the twists and turns and

how the author brought it back at the end however there are some technicalities with the case and such that don’t sit well with me that led them to their decision and ultimately the punishment - I feel like IRL he would have gotten back to back life sentences with no chance of parole - but I also don’t know shit about shit so being sentenced to death after stabbing a cop’s wife is the normal “punishment” ???

Enjoyable read. Loved the writing and dual POV as well as the court setting.

Ending was predictable and felt rushed. MIL was horrendous to a point of disbelief.

Will definitely try more by the author ☺️
