4.75 loook this was one JR’s better novels & I will definitely read The Perfect Divorce… yes there’s a but coming. (Keep in mind I am reading the second publishing of this book and not the debut.)

Bottom line: I was entertained. However, it doesn’t change the fact that even in round two of this book and all of these supposed edits there are still plot holes and glaringly obvious liberties taken regarding the justice system for the sake of fictional story telling.

Was close to not finishing this book. The writing style is extremely repetitive and drawn out for no reason and I didn’t find any of the characters to be likable. I felt like this book dragged until the last few pages when the author attempted to wrap it up. I personally would skip this book, though according to reviews others liked it.

This book started off strong but just became so silly. Also, it was so unnecessary for every character to be slamming their fist on a table at some point.

I’m always a fan of a mystery I can’t guess.
