Some of the writing/descriptions are a bit tedious, but as the story progresses and the pace picks up, you can easily ignore them. Hence why I genuinely didn’t see the twist coming, because I was guessing everyone else!

A thought provoking murder mystery that honestly had me fooled pretty close to the end.

A great thriller, the characters lore feels deep and genuinely interesting and embarks emotion into the reader, i was constantly hooked through reading. The twist was a little anticlimactic due to limited amount of characters it 'could have been' but still a great, well-thoughtout book!

An sich gutes Buch, aber meine Meinung nach zu vorhersehbar.

Es war klar, dass Adam nicht der Mörder ist, der ist viel zu sehr ein Man Child.

Und Sarah war so egozentrisch und nazistisch und kontrollierend und nichts von der Affäre zu wissen.

I called the plot twist from a mile away. It's so over done; I feel like I've read this same plot twist in so many thriller books (eg. Gone Girl, The Silent Patient). Not only this, but in those other books the plot twist actually worked. In this, however, it made absolutely no sense and seems to come out of left field due to the first person narrative! On a more positive note, I love a good revenge arc especially when it involves the cheating trope.
