Looooooove this book. It is just the right amount of everything. I’d be shocked if they didn’t make movie series.
Wanna know a good book to read next!?! Visit http://mybookpile.blogspot.com
I have been hearing so many good things about this book, so I had my expectations really high. I loved the idea of the world Oliver built. I loved the love story. Unfortunately, a large part of the book I was left wanting more. I liked it, don't get me wrong....but I felt their could have been expansion on some plot points, like Gracie and Lena's mother. More action, less monologue inside the main character's head. I felt like the author told some parts of the story rather then showed what was happening. The part I loved the most was the climax at the end. I don't want to go into specifics because I don't want to spoil it, but overall this book was a good read, but it felt like it was lacking something to me.

Honestly, I really like this book, despite its extremely similar aspects to the Uglies series. Set in the near future, society has a warped aspect of a certain aspect from today's stands, girl brakes rules and defies the recognized social standards of her community...yeah pretty close.
The one thing that differed completely, (and I don't want to spoil the ending for anyone, so if you haven't read it, don't read this anymore) was the ending. The fact that the ending was totally sad and the girls didn't get the guy was almost unforgivable!
But at the same time, the main theme of the book was made that much more dramatic by the ending results. It still sucked for the characters, none the less!
All in all, it was a good read and a very entertaining book! If you enjoyed reading, The Uglies series, Matched, or the Wired series, this one is one you should give a try!

3 1/2...YA fiction. Good but not my favorite genre (dystopia) May read the sequel someday...
On a positive note, the writing is beautiful and witty.

The book highlights what happens to society if love were classified as a disease that had to be eradicated. It was awesome.

A delightfully predictable love story based in a dystopian world where even the word love is banned. I can't wait until I get my hands on the sequel.
