I enjoyed the book, but I wasn't "wowed" by it. There are some really awesome lines that make you stop reading and sit to think. And I like the journey of the book. The philosophy wasn't deep enough for me however. But I did enjoy reading a book we're someone else sporadically thinks and imagines through life similarly to me. Could have used a little more grit and more thoughts than references and stories.

It felt good to hear Mr. Snicket's voice once again. This book is calm, leisurely paced, and would go great with an early morning breakfast- particularly on a day where there isn't much to be done besides read and think

This book has been on my TBR since I created my goodreads account - so I thought it was only fitting I finish out my 2023 reading challenge with it! A fun read by Lemony Snicket - definitely shows his sass and personality and reminds me of why I loved all of the Series of Unfortunate Events books as a kid!
