This book illustrated my greatest fear growing up and it was great!

Really reminds me of Lyle, Lyle Crocodile.

Perfection! This book rules!!! I want posters in my house of basically every page.

My 2-year-old said "Read it again!" over and over. A big hit!

Adorable.

A funny and simple story with little (but very effective) text.
You can't help falling in love with this sweet crocodile and it did remind me of my childhood fear of having a plant growing inside my stomach!
The illustrations are ever so lovely, I really like the bold limited palette.
For little and big kids that may or may not like watermelon.

It was a hit at read-a-loud time. They all wanted to share their love of watermelon.

Prep for this summer's Reading Buddies

I suppose it's a cute and funny story, perfect for littles, but not really what I'm looking for Reading Buddies.

This made me laugh! And now I really want to read it aloud to some kids! Maybe even some adults! :) Who wouldn't love a book with a good burp in the middle? Too fun.

This is a 2015 Grand Canyon Reader Award nominee in the picture book category. It was also the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award winner for 2014.

So cute and perfect for summer!
