I remember worrying about this exact same thing as a kid! This book would make for a very fun read aloud.
Cute, quick read for young ones in the summertime. It doesn't address the concern that some kids (and crocodiles, obviously) have that if you swallow a seed, the plant will grow inside of you. But still, this book is colorful, light-hearted fun - just right for summer.

So funny! I have read this five times in the last three days with grades K-3, and they adore it.
This book is adorable. I recommend it for a readaloud with students with special needs, or younger primary students. Mine LOVED it! Great story, fun interactive elements, simple color palette combine into illustrations that pack a visual wallop.
I was drawn to this because well I'm a farmer and I love anything with fruits and vegetables in it. Cute read / illustrations.
Henry and I read this in the library. It made us giggle.
Cute and funny. Made me think of the episode of The Magic School Bus when they go inside the body to find the watermelon seed.
