To start right out with Max and what he was dealing with was awesome. It gave us readers a chance to see what things were like for him while building up the right amount of suspense. Allie is a strong curvy woman who is out to change the world and fashion industry and I admire her for that. Her friends Drue and Raegan decide she needs a vacation so they plan a getaway for her in France. I was on the edge of my seat reading and loving every minute of this book. And the ending was amazing. I held my breath while reading it.

While this is not my preferred genre, I love Ms. Payne's writing and she does a fabulous job of making the story very enjoyable. Once I started reading it, I could not put it down.

Irresistibly cute and filled with beautifully written characters and enough spice to make you a little hot under the collar. Allie and Max might be from two different periods of time but their connection was filled with laughter and raw emotions. This was a great addition to the series.

DNF this one at page 65. I'm sorry, I know this dude is from 1789, but I just couldn't after "She falters as I rebury my c0ck inside her perfect, hot glove." Umm, what? If that's any indication of what the steamage is going to be like then I'm out, thank you, but no thank you.

I might as well leave the bare bones notes I already took in case you're interested.

Misadventures with a Time Traveler was an interesting book. Max is a time traveler from the 1800’s and Allie is a busy lady from 2019. I ended up loving this story and it was hot and steamy!!

This reminded me a lot of a Hallmark/Lifetime movie. Very entertaining but slightly goofy and a bit cheesy. The love story was fun. I think I just had higher hopes for this and was disappointed.

I am not new to reading the Misadventures series, but this is the first book I have read from Angel Payne. That being said, I really enjoyed this book. I really liked the idea about it and it was a different kind of read for me.

I loved Max. He didn’t try to shy away that he wasn’t from the present time, yet no one believed he wasn’t. Just thought he was strange. I felt his reactions to the new age technology was realistic and probably how anyone would react in that situation. Alice was hit or miss. I liked her but at the same time I was also frustrated with her, because I wanted her to believe, to fit.

There is no denying the chemistry these two had though. It was explosive from the very first moment they met and just continued to grow and develop from there.

I fell in love with this story and these characters and I hope there is more of them in the future because I definitely want to see what is in store for both Max and Allie.
