I am not usually a fan of science fiction, but I guess this is not really science fiction though the stories take place around 2050. So maybe futuristic is a better description.

It took a bit of time, but characters grew on me.

Murder is murder and listening to Eve and her colleagues meander through the information to get the killers was very engaging.

This is such a wholesome book. I cried and laughed. The case was chilling and horrifying. The twist in the end was unexpected.

I'm amazed by this series and I don't want it to be over ever. I think, this is the most perfect In Death book so far.

Great book, we saw Eve and Roarke get closer together.

That ending

Origin in Death has more of a technology edge to it than most in the series (at least to this point). The story begins with the death of a well respected doctor. Eve Dallas steps in and uncovers that the doctor isn't quite as saintly as he seems. As the story progresses, Eve has continual pressure placed on her from friends and admirers of the doctor. But by now, all fans know, that Eve will stop at nothing to get justice.

The story is fast paced and enjoyable. It also covers some controversial topics not only in this future setting but for any time period. Highly recommended to any and all 'in death' series fans.
