this book 100% reminded me of Corrupt by Penelope Douglas and i didn’t finish that lol
the slight S/A the FMC goes through while the MMC watches, the pure hatred he seems to have towards her that stems from her just having bad timing, the bullying and finally the fact that they have maybe four conversations in 319 pages is insane.
i’ll still finish the series but so far, not the highest hope.

The female lead gets called all names and insults under the sun by the male lead and his little groupie. She then gets surrounded by them in the pool where they sexually assault her. They also urge others at school to bully her. No one talks to her, things are thrown at her, her clothes are stolen and drenched in toilet water, they fill her school bag and locker with sex toys, and then they slash her car tires and spray paint ‘bitch’ on it.
AND F*CKING YET, just a few days later—after she retaliated by sending a fake positive pregnancy test to the male lead’s mother—the male lead throws her beneath the bleachers, sexually assaults her for the THIRD TIME, and tells her to beg to suck his cock.
AND FOR SOME F*CKING PATHETIC, IRREDEEMABLE REASON, THE FEMALE LEAD STARTS ACTING LIKE A B*TCH IN HEAT AND ACTUALLY BEGS.
