Meh

This was my first dark romance book. Overall I enjoyed the book. Some parts were not for me, and I should have read trigger warnings first. The story ends with a cliffhanger, sort of. Felt like nothing was resolved and everything was getting started then came to an abrupt end.

There’s a difference from bullying to full out assault and almost r*pe etc. I’m not sure why so many authors are writing enemies or bully to romance books as full out assault books. The over all story line could have been so interesting if it wasn’t for the insanity of how the stupid immature teen boys where acting. Couldn’t get passed that at all. Made it to 37% and just had to stop. Such toxic “relationship”.

SpoilerLost me when Noa said Dorian was the quarterback, but then described him as “running down the field, catching passes” during a game.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It’s easy to read and easy to follow.

2.5⭐️ I can’t with the bully love. I guess just not my trope. TW for sexual assault masked as intimate relations with the MC’s.

THE PLOT TWIST. THE CLIFFHANGER. HOLY HELL.

Update: While the ending was cool, idc enough to really continue on with the series. Maybe in the future I’ll change my mind but for now, it’s gonna be pushed aside.
