One of the highlights of the series. I could not but it down and devoured it within hours. It reminded me a bit of the movie two weeks notice, just with more spice and in gay. I loved the concept of the Story as well as the characters. Nate gets hired as a PA because of a bet. Nate always gives sassy comments and does not hold back with his opinion. Raffaelle is his Boss and a very intimidating person. Unlike his other assistants, whom he regularly fires within a few weeks, he keeps Nate around and gets used to him. He even goes so far as to not let Nate go after the 6 months and makes sure that he doesn't get a job anywhere else and is forced to come back. The relationship escalated quickly from there on, first handjobs, then blowjobs, fake dating and finally fuck buddies. At the end they realise that they have feelings for each other and I liked that Raffaelle was the one who went to see Nate at the end. And also the way their relationship was discovered at the end was hilarious. The story was simple, but very enjoyable, would recommend.

Heart-meltingly good

I'll admit I avoided reading this for a long time because of the cheesy cover, and now I wish I hadn't. I loved this story. It had me hooked right from the start and I'm still having heart palpitations from it. What can I say? It was just so romantic and steamy (spoiler: it was hot hot hot). I've read a lot of romances this year since I signed up for Kindle Unlimited, and I was beginning to get a little bored, so this was a welcome change from the usual. A beautiful love story. The only thing missing is an epilogue, as I felt it ended a little abruptly. But overall, well recommended.

Of all the books on this series I’ve read so far, this was easily the best. Nate’s internal dialogue was hysterical

I actually had pretty high expectations for this going into it, but I can't say I ended up being very impressed.

To me there was just something missing: a spark? a connection?

I love a good hate-to-love story when you can slowly see them growing closer (especially between a boss and his assistant), but here I thought there was merely a constant string of annoyance between them and then they start hooking up and.. simply don't want to stop having sex. So they decide: why not have a relationship then? The end.

There's no true love, no deeper connection, no getting to know each other. Just: obsessed with sex.

There was nothing 'soft' about their relationship, and neither did they have particularly great banter. I was really waiting for some more depth, but it didn't come.

In my opinion this book would have been better if Raffaele would have realized his feelings for Nate sooner. Because seriously, not even in his inner monologue (which was only once or twice by the way, almost all of it is from Nate's POV) did he ever have sweet or swoony thoughts about Nate. He just found him "insolent" and maybe slightly amusing? That's not enough.

I also would have preferred if Nate wasn't such a complete push-over. He did anything Raffaele wanted from him, and he never stood up for himself. He was just obsessed with Raffaele's cock, and that's it.
Which is odd, because we're told that people are drawn to Nate because he exudes warmth and kindness, but we never see any of that actually happen on-page. We are only told, never shown, what kind of person Nate is.

Anyway, it's not that I hated this book, not at all; I was thoroughly entertained throughout. It was truly never boring.
The book was just never particularly great either, and I didn't feel very invested in the relationship.

The later chapters were definitely the best, though, because Raffaele finally pulled his head out of his arse and realized he actually liked Nate.
