Two short stories. Not bad, just too short. The TV series Rizzoli & Isles is based on this writers character. There may be longer stories by her, but I haven't read them.

Wow...I liked it I really did but it is reallllly short. Like really short. I would have been mad if I had paid for this but I got it as a freebie before the new season started. I don't want to say much about it since it's so short and I could give something away but if you like the show you'll like this. I still have to read the other books in the series so I can't comment on it yet. Take it to your next doctor's appointment. You'll be able to finish it in the time you wait in the lobby. ^_^

"Homicide cop Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles have seen their fair share of mortal crimes, but the death of Kimberly Rayner may qualify as inhuman in more ways than one. When the corpse of the emaciated seventeen-year-old girl is discovered next to an empty coffin in an abandoned church, mysterious bruises around the throat suggest foul play. Caught fleeing the scene is the victim's closest friend, Lucas Henry, an equally skeletal, pale teenager who claims he's guilty only of having a taste for blood-a craving he shared with Kimberly. But the victim's distraught father doesn't believe in vampires, only vengeance. And now, another life may be at risk unless Rizzoli and Isles can uncover the astonishing truth." (From Amazon)

Not my favourite Rizzoli and Isles story at all. It was too short to really get into.

This was a quick read during my lunch break. I do enjoy just about any show with Angie Harmon in it, so I watched a few episodes of "Rizzoli & Isles" and was intrigued that there are companion books.

This version included a sneak peek at the next novel which seems way more interesting than the short story it's attached to.

“Freaks” seems like it will be dark and weird, but for once you're not feeling left like humanity has gone completely over the edge. It was a nice surprise ending.

Free and very short Rizzoli & Isles story. I've not read any Gerritsen but picked this up having seen the TV show. I will probably give a full-length novel a try, as long as it isn't too gory in the Cornwell style.

Even though I don't really like Short Stories I downloaded this free book as it was by Tess Gerritsen. It was an okay read but wasn't very long at all so there wasn't much of a chase for the killer.

An extremely quick shot of Rizzoli and Isles solving the mysterious case of the vampire girl. Very entertaining!
