This book really got to my emotions. I was angry and upset and supportive and afraid. A really nuanced take. And whew, does Ms. Hepworth know how to write mother drama.

This is my second Sally Hepworth book and I like them, don't love, but they certainly have a place as a solid, family drama/mystery set of books. I saw this one described as a thriller and while there is a murder mystery, it's definitely not a thriller, so once I realized that, I was able to enjoy the storytelling more. I'm finding these books to be perfect audiobooks for me as I ease into more audiobooks.
