Arianna is a pro tennis player whose parents were pro athletes as well. She grew up in the public eye and always believed she had to be perfect.
Chase is a pro football player whose father was a pro athlete and BFF with Arianna's dad.
Both families were close and no one ever knew that Chase and Arianna may have had a romantic past together or did they. The two have known each other their whole lives and were always fighting. Everything between them was a competition. A love/hate relationship.
The author takes you through love, friendship, family, fame, hurt, revenge, grief and the list goes on and on. I felt this story is worth reading and keeps you engaged. You do have to get use to the author going from present one chapter to the past in another.

Loved this book! The voices are spot on. I really found myself enjoying Chase's POV a bit more than Ari's, but that's me. Thankfully I could dive into book two!
This is a case of "it's me not you" book. Thought it would be a certain type of book, but it's really another, and it's a cliffy. Just not my cuppa.
