God , whyyy is it like a foursome Jesus lord that ruined the damn book

Original rating 3 Stars - I'm honestly contemplating changing my review to 4 stars. I think it is incredibly hard to make a RH standalone. Mafia Wars is a series of RH interconnected standalones. All the crime families have organized a treaty where the daughters of each family will be betrothed to another within the crime world to insure peace among the different crime families.

Binding Rose starts with Rosa, the Mexican Cartel Princess. She has been promised to Tiernan the leader of the Irish Mob. Rosa has accepted her fate. She knows this arrangement is something she must go through so that the killing will end. Rosa has heard terrible things about the Irish mob but she still holds onto a glimmer of hope that her marriage to Tiernan may develop into something more.

Tiernan hates Rosa from the very start. He is disgusted by her and he shows it. He knows that he must uphold this agreement but he won't make it easy for her. Lets not forget, his sister has been promised to another as well. Safe to say we are in hostile territory.

Tiernan oversees the mob with his brother Shay and cousin Collin. While Tiernan keeps his distance from his new wife, Shay and Collin actually build a relationship with her.

I am a sucker for RH so if you write it, I'll read it. I read a couple of bad reviews and decided to read this book anyways because I got the gist Tiernan was an alpha-hole and I wanted a piece of that! He really was a menace but it was worth it for the groveling in the end. Rosa really whipped these men into shape. I also loved the concept for this interconnected standalone series. There was drama, romance with a touch of darkness. I'm definitely interested in reading about the other daughters and seeing how this truce plays out.

Wow wow wow

This is my first time reading a book by Ivy Rose. This is also not my usual type of book. I started it with an open mind as I liked the idea of the series theme.

Please note that there maybe triggers for some, so please take care when choosing this book.

I could not put it down. The heat is 5/5!

I will be the first to admit that mafia romance doesn't really do it for me, something about organized crime gives me the willies. HOWEVER, this book was performed far to well for me not to finish it. I just melted due to Neal and York's impressive emotions and delivery of these lines.

The book was good but the performance was BETTER.

This was so boring. Even with the audiobook it was still boring.
Liked the FMC but the MC literally has one brain cell.
I always like reading RH but the approach for this now was so bad idk but it felt really weird.
Still I respect FMC Turing his own words and games on him which was smart but didn’t like enough to give it three stars.

I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars but the epilogue really upset me with no Shay and Colin

I struggled seeing the connection between all the characters. Rose was clearly in love with her husband but the relationship with Shay and Colin didn’t hold the same weight. It felt more like she was using their friendship, love and attention because she was lonely and wasn’t getting it from her husband. I wished there had been more scenes with all four of them as a couple to truly sell the RH. It was also super unrealistic for Tiernan to go from super possessive and not wanting to share his wife to all of a sudden after she was sad for a few weeks to change his mind and be all in. I didn’t buy it and it felt really rushed and inauthentic. Also the dialogue and story became real cringe toward the end. Lots of telling instead of showing and if Rose called Tiernan her king one more time, I was going to vomit. Seeing how poorly this turned out I don’t think I’ll be reading the other stories but I might give them a chance because I normally love a well written RH.

Wow. Unexpected winner.

Great read

I am loving this series of books, such a fab idea. This book was great, a rollercoaster of a read and heart breaking at times but a lovely ending.

Hmmm I really was enjoying this book but towards the middle it just got bland in the plot. And then when there was an issue, it was all resolved within that one chapter.

I always wasn’t a huge fan of this reverse harem. Not sure if other authors just made me set very high expectations but this just didn’t feel like one to me. I’ll continue onto the next book soon but not right away.
